Structure of MCPCB
Metal core PCB are PCB that use metal as base material. It is used as an alternative to FR-4 or CEM boards for the ability to dissipate heat away from critical board components such as IC or high heat density LEDs. In general, there are two types of metal that is used as base material: copper and aluminum. Galaxy PCB provide both type and also patented DLC-MCPCB. The structure from bottom layer to the top layer of a single side MCPCB are metal layer (usually aluminum), dielectric layer, copper logic circuit layer, solder mask then silkscreen.
